I let the walls down

And drained the moat

Threw my armor into the dungeons

And dulled my weapons

So you could come into 

This castle and dance 

With me in the ballroom.

But you came into my home

And told me the room was

Too dull and the carpet too old

So you turned and left

Leaving the damage behind like a 

Battle strategy you knew would never work.

I didn’t know you were the war

When I left myself defenseless

Hoping you would bring an end to 

The fire raining down around me.
